Dear all:

I was talking to Molly McCracken from CCPA and apparently they would very much appreciate it if we would sponsor their event with Boots Riley on May 11. You all probably recall that we decided we couldn’t partner with the CCPA on the event because the only date he could come is May 11 – one day too late for us. But Molly tells me that they would benefit significantly from our sponsorship, which would involve us formally becoming a sponsor and supporting them in-kind (they would also accept monetary support, but I am guessing we can afford only in-kind). They are about to launch the event, so if we are able to sponsor, it would help if we could tell them soon.

Is there support for this among the committee?
