Hi folks in the UM Advising community,
Now is a time of year where you might be seeing students who are struggling or discouraged. This week, Student Affairs is hosting Student Success Week: it's all about helping UM students gain momentum to help carry them forward through the rest of the winter term.
Student Success Week (February 26 - March 1):
* Offers over 30 events related to careers, academics, well-being, and community involvement
* Helps students build awareness of the various services, supports, and opportunities available to them
* Promotes strategies and skills for student success
* Highlights student stories about their unique experiences at UM in UM Today
Please see the events calendar online<https://news.umanitoba.ca/gain-momentum-student-success-week/> and encourage students to attend and participate. Share the attached poster or digital slide with students so they can learn more.
We look forward to a great week celebrating student success!
