The Community Guide (www.thecommunityguide.org) is a free resource from the epidemiology branch of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in the US. It provides summaries and recommendations from systematic reviews that they conduct on broad public health topics.
The Community Guide is a great place to look for answers to questions on:

• Which program and policy intervention has been proven effective?
• Are there effective interventions that are right for my community?
• What might effective interventions cost; what is the likely return on investment?
