I previously used v1.4.2 (x86_64_Win64, Windows 8) - that's the one which
doesn't work.

But I just figured out that it actually works with the beta version that I
just installed:

EpiData Entry Client
Program Version: 1.4.3.3 r342
Core version: 1.4.3.0 r892
FPC Version: 2.6.2
Platform: x86_64-Win64
Filename: C:\XXX\Politiker.epx
XML Version: 2
Field count: 34
Record count: 0

Principally this solves my problem. But I'm kind of unsure if it's
reasonable to use a beta for our study, isn't it?

Regards, Nico
