Dear Hans,

This matter also does not work in Uniface version Eight and for that version
the BUG#25834 "COM call-out: Issue with Outlook 2003"
(http://myuniface.com/frontline/buglist/25834.htm) has been created. The
issue is currently under investigation by Compuware and (if possible) a
solution is planned for one of the next Uniface version 8.3 and 8.4 patches.
For version 7.2.06 however no solution will be made available, because this
specific version is not supported anymore since January 1,
2004 (http://myuniface.com/frontline/prodavai/relplans.htm#Legacy)!

And the reason why Uniface cannot communicate (anymore) with Outlook 2003 is
obviously because that specific version of Outlook does not use an IDispatch
interface (as earlier versions did). Uniface however requires this interface
to successfully communicate with another program using the COM call-out
interface.
