We just got word that we did not receive the SSHRC Connections grant for which we had applied.  This comes as a surprise, although we did apply early in order to be able to re-apply should there be a snag.  This is clearly what we will be doing.  We will be receiving a letter from SSHRC explaining the decision, which should give us something to go on when we prepare our new application.

This is a hiccough, although we have strong support from other sources and time to respond.  We can discuss all of this at our upcoming meeting on Monday, July 16, at 1:30 at our regular meeting space:  Room 2B23 at the University of Winnipeg.
