Dear students,

I hope you’re enjoying a wonderful summer, whether on campus, at work or at the beach! Whatever you’re doing, have fun and stay safe. 

Good news! We’ve been working hard with members of our university community, including students, to build a new web experience tailored for you! The first phase launches August 8 and you’re going to have a vastly more positive online interaction!

Among the first pages you’ll see are those designed to help you make the most of campus life, including admissions information, student supports, getting involved and community events.

No matter where or how you access our new site, you’ll find it responsive, mobile-friendly and easy to navigate across any device, including desktop, tablet and phone.

You’ll also notice our new logo and other visual elements from our new brand that reflect our colourful, vibrant and inclusive UM community.

The new site is the result of extensive consultation with our community, including current, new and prospective students. This collaborative effort was critical to getting us here, and I’m thankful to everyone for their participation.

On or after August 8 visit umanitoba.ca and get to know the new online home for your university. 

During the next few months, it will continue to grow and improve as we migrate more content from our current website to our new one. We will continue to test, learn and modify in an effort to deliver the best online experience for you.
