Email Spam - Dropbox Campus Cup

There was a recent round of SPAM email (junk mail) with the subject line "It’s here! Your chance to earn 25GB" encouraging you to "Join the rest of University of Manitoba in the Dropbox Campus Cup" by signing up for free online storage. A sample is shown below.

This "campus cup" is NOT sponsored or endorsed by the University of Manitoba. The University of Manitoba does have supported online storage for students in Office 365 which provides students with 1 TB of One Drive storage. Further information on how to get this can be found at the U of M link: New! Office 365 for Students.

Please remember, if you receive an email that you are uncertain of DO NOT click any links. You can delete the email or if you are concerned about the content you can forward the email as an attachment to Servicedesk@umanitoba.ca for review.
