Many of you have heard that the Macintosh Business Unit (MBU) inside Microsoft is busy creating "Office 2008 for Mac". Originally, Microsoft had stated that the release window for this product as second half of this year. As of today, they pushed their release window out to mid-January 2008 for quality assurance reasons.

While we still do not have a fixed release date, we have gone from a six month release window down to 30 days.
