A Distance-Based Method to Estimate Annual Pedestrian and Bicyclist Exposure in an Urban Environment

 

The U.S. Federal Highway Administration has released a report that presents methods that can be used to measure the safety of places, including intersections, road segments, and parking lots, when considering the effect on pedestrians and bicyclists in an urban area.
