Congestion pricing can be a valuable tool for regions to address congestion and meet goals for sustainability and equity. ITS tools and ETC technologies to enable congestion management systems that can sense, adapt, and influence driver behavior so that planners and policy makers can optimize their transportation networks. Given the current changes in traveler behavior due to the pandemic, there is increasing interest in road user charging schemes as a new approach to manage the load on regional transport systems. In this webinar, you’ll learn how technology is being leveraged to integrate other road network systems, holistically manage networks, coordinate planned demand against different modal capacities, and incentivize specific choices.
