University of Manitoba Faculty of Graduate Studies


 

The Faculty of Graduate Studies is currently accepting nominations a new funding opportunity for graduate students called the Study in Canada Scholarships (website found by clicking here).

 

This particular scholarship program, which is funded by EduCanada (an external funding agency), aims to increase opportunities for post-secondary institutions across Canada to welcome international students from around the world.  The requirements for this award are set by EduCanada, and the University of Manitoba is on the list of approved institutions who are eligible to nominate students for this program.

 

To be considered for this scholarship, EduCanada’s requirements indicate that candidate students:

 

Departments interested in nominating an incoming International student from one of the above listed countries who has already been offered admission for the Fall 2020 term can review the Awards Database entry for the Study in Canada Scholarships program found by clicking here which itemizes the documentation required to be submitted to the Faculty of Graduate Studies for nomination for the Study in Canada Scholarships.  (Please scroll down to review the “Application Details” listed at the bottom of this link.)

 

Complete nomination packages including all required documentation for the Study in Canada Scholarships must be submitted no later than Friday, March 13th, 2020.
