Dear colleagues,
Please find attached the revised UMGF Terms of Reference, which were recently approved by Senate and the Board of Governors. A notable change to the award pertains to the minimum GPA requirement.
Whereas the previous regulations require a minimum GPA of 3.75 in the last 60 credit hours (or equivalent) of study, the new regulations require a minimum GPA of 3.75
in each of the last two years of study. This requirement is consistent with Tri-Council’s GPA requirement for their Master’s and Doctoral Awards.
Any students selected and recommended under the former regulations before today’s date will be deemed eligible.
