ACTIVE LIVING CENTRE TO OPEN FEBRUARY 25, 2015
On February 25, 2015, students will begin to enjoy the beauty and reap the benefits of the new world-class Active Living Centre. With the building opening in a phased approach, users will be given access to the 300 level and 400 levels [3rd and 4th floors] which house the bulk of new cardio, resistance and free weight equipment as well as a 200-metre indoor track. Don’t forget to activate your Recreation Services U of M Student Membership today! Make recreation and physical activity a regular part of your day!
 
 
Alzheimer Society of Manitoba Fellowships
The Alzheimer Society offers two Fellowships of $4,000 (each), which the Centre on Aging adjudicates on behalf of the Alzheimer Society. Awards and research fellowships are open to graduate students.

Manitoba Health Research Poster Competition
The Manitoba Health Research Poster Competition for graduate students is a great venue for students from across the health spectrum (Animal Science to zoologists... as broad as the CIHR mandate) to gain practice in presentation, receive feedback from experienced judges (awards of excellence are also available), and network with students from across the breadth of health research, both here and nationally.
