Dear Colleague,

On Thursday, December 15, IEEE and COMSOL will give a free webinar on "Simulating Acoustics in Transducers, Mobile Devices, and Hearing Aids." Details and registration are available below.

If you want to learn how to simulate acoustics in COMSOL Multiphysics®, then tune into this webinar. Simulating acoustic devices such as transducers usually involves coupling mechanical, electrical, and acoustic effects. You must also consider the necessary degree of detail, lumping certain parts, as well as viscous and thermal losses. In this presentation, you will get a live demonstration on how to model small devices, such as miniature loudspeakers, microphones, hearing aids, and mobile devices, using COMSOL Multiphysics®. Our guest speaker, Brenno Varanda from Knowles Corporation, will also present strategies for the efficient simulation and integration of miniature transducers. You can ask questions throughout the presentation or at the end during the Q&A session.

Speakers:
Brenno Varanda, Senior Electroacoustic Engineer, Knowles Corporation
Mads Herring Jensen, Technical Product Manager - Acoustics, COMSOL A/S

Live Presentation - Thursday, December 15, 2016  2:00pm EST
