3. Healing a Broken World

$5 (with student I.D)!!!

For most speakers, even the best of them, the highlight of their career might be speaking to an audience of 1,500 people. For Esther Jungreis, it’s a weekly event. Every Tuesday night at 7pm, 1,500 young Manhattan professionals crowd into New York’s famed KJ Synagogue for the largest weekly Jewish program in the world.

Esther Jungreis, a survivor of the horrors of the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp, arrived on the shores of America determined to make a difference for the Jewish People and the world. And that is exactly what she has done.

Her passion to touch the lives of her fellow Jews has taken many paths. Over thirty years ago, she founded Hineni (which means “here I am” in Hebrew). Hineni’s two Centres; one on the Upper West Side of Manhattan and one in the heart of Jerusalem, host thousands of Jews every week for a wide range of inspiring classes and programs.

She has written three best-selling books published by HarperCollins; “The Jewish Soul on Fire”, “The Committed Life” & “The Committed Marriage”. She has spoken to sold-out crowds around the world; including Madison Square Garden, the Johannesburg Coliseum, the Hollywood Palladium and Binyanei HaUma in Jerusalem. Tens of thousands enjoy her weekly syndicated cable-network television program. She is asked to speak regularly for the US Armed Forces and the IDF. Most recently, she was chosen to lead the closing benediction at the 2004 Republican National Convention in NYC.

On April 6, 2005, don’t miss this one-time-only opportunity to see a woman who - with her intelligence, wit, charm and persistence - has impacted the state of world Jewry.
