CFJS Summer 2008 IsraelExperience Grants

Want to be in Israel this summer? Still trying toscratch together the last few dollars to make it happen?

The Canadian Federation of Jewish Students would liketo help you!

In this, the 60th year of Israel’s existence, CFJS is offering a granttowards the costs related to a trip to Israel during the summer 2008. Themaximum grant will be $1000.  Upon acceptance of the grant and completionof the Israel program, therecipients will return to their campus and undertake an Israel relatedinitiative.

The grant is available to any Canadian studentinterested in visiting Israelin the summer of 2008. Applicants may participate on an organized trip; work ata summer internship, a volunteer experience, or an educational experience. Allapplicants must be returning to a Canadian post-secondary institution in thefall semester of 2008.

CFJS Summer 2008 IsraelExperience Grants

The CanadianFederation of Jewish Students would like to help you!

 

In this, the 60thyear of Israel’s existence,CFJS is offering a grant towards the costs related to a trip to Israel duringthe summer 2008. CFJS understands the importance of visiting Israel as wellas the financial burden this can sometimes place. As such, we are committed tohelping students realize their dream of visiting Israel-especially during this exciting time in Israel’s history.  The maximumgrant will be $1000 and will be dependent on several factors including, but notlimited to: the number of applicants and the cost of the intended Israel program.

 

Upon acceptance of thegrant and completion of the Israelprogram, the recipients will return to their campus and undertake an Israel relatedinitiative. The initiatives may be carried out in cooperation with localHillel/JSA, IAC, Israel Alumni Associations, or any variety of campus clubs.The initiative should be creative and may take on the form of an awarenesscampaign, a fundraiser, or a one-time program. Regardless of the choseninitiative, it must engage other students and further their knowledge about Israel. Inaddition, CFJS will help you fund the initiative. This should be an excitingproject following an exciting Israelexperience.
