Dear colleagues,

I am writing to share information about a project within the context of our Scholars at Risk (SAR) uOttawa Program: the Coalition for Academic Freedom in the Americas. As some of you may know, the University of Ottawa is a member of the SAR Network and our Centre is the engine behind this engagement. The Coalition is an initiative jointly led by the Universidad de Monterrey, Scholars at Risk and our Centre. The goals are to create links with new partners and other SAR members, and to deepen our advocacy actions in the region. We hope that you will find interesting content on the new website (links are below) and we invite you to follow the Coalition on twitter (@CAFACLAA). Should you have questions or would like to discuss further, do not hesitate to contact me. Also please feel free to share this message with other colleagues, students and allies in your networks.
