Le Centre de recherche et d'enseignement sur les droits de la personne (CREDP) est heureux de s'associer à la professeure agrégée Nadia Abu-Zahra, titulaire de la Chaire conjointe en études des femmes - Université d'Ottawa et Université Carleton, et au Professeur Neuberger-Jesin John Packer, directeur du CREDP, pour le lancement de l'initiative VOICES.

VOICES : Militants en exil. Agents de changement.

 

VOICES soutient les militants en exil qui tentent de faire du pays qu'ils ont quitté un endroit meilleur. Ces voix sont importantes pour les perspectives qu'elles offrent et pour les idées qu'elles génèrent. Voices fournira des plates-formes à ceux qui ne seraient pas entendus autrement, dans des situations de conflit violent. Rejoignez-nous pour le lancement virtuel de cette initiative, nous en apprendrons plus sur elle et écouterons la voix du militant pour les droits de la personne Ali Mirzad.

The Human Rights Research and Education Centre (HRREC) is pleased to partner with Associate Professor Nadia Abu-Zahra, Joint Chair in Women's Studies - University of Ottawa and Carleton University, and Neuberger-Jesin Professor John Packer, HRREC Director, in the launch of the initiative VOICES.

VOICES: Activists in Exile. Agents of Change.

 

VOICES supports activists in exile who are trying to make the home they left a better place. Those voices are important for the perspectives they offer and for the ideas they generate. Voices will provide platforms for those who would otherwise not be heard, in situations of violent conflict. Join us in the virtual launch of this initiative as we will learn more about it and listen to the voice of human rights activist Ali Mirzad.
