Hi everyone,

There will be some changes to virtual reference hours starting this weekend.

Hannah Loewen joins the team as the weekend VR operator (Saturdays and Sundays). She will be working out of my office (304A) in the Dafoe Library.  Her first day will be Sunday February 2 and her last day will be Sunday April 21.

Hannah’s hours on Saturdays will be from 9am-5pm and on Sundays from 1pm-9pm. On Saturdays, Hannah will be the primary VR operator, with Libraries staff providing additional support from 1pm-5pm as we’ve done in the past. On Sundays Hannah will be the sole VR operator.

Shaun Mulvey will be moving from Sundays to Fridays and will provide VR service from 1pm-9pm, with Libraries staff providing additional support as required. This is a pilot project to see if extended Friday hours will be of benefit to our students and faculty. Shaun’s first Friday will be February 8.
