Please be advised that CIHR Doctoral Research Awards and Post-Doctoral Fellowships require ORS approval prior to submission to CIHR through ResearchNet’s eApproval sytem, and should be submitted in hard copy to ORS by the internal deadline with a completed Funding Application Approval Form (http://umanitoba.ca/research/ors/media/Funding_Application_Approval_Form.pdf).

The internal deadline for CIHR Doctoral Research Awards is September 26^th, with a submission deadline of October 3^rd. Please note that sponsor letters are not required to be included with the submission provided to ORS for the internal deadline, but must be submitted directly in ResearchNet 48 hours in advance of the submission deadline.

The internal deadline for CIHR Fellowships (including post-doctoral fellowships) is October 25^th, with a submission deadline of November 1^st.

It is understood that applicants will require access to ResearchNet to continue revising their applications up to the final submission deadline, and therefore the internal deadline listed within ResearchNet remains the same as the final submission deadline. ORS will review the applications as submitted in hard copy and provide feedback and approval to proceed with the ResearchNet submission.

Please circulate this information to researchers in your Faculties/Schools as appropriate to facilitate distribution to their students/fellows planning to apply to this opportunity.
