Dear Manitoba Neuroscientists,

We are now in the process of planning the 2012 Manitoba Neuroscience Annual Meeting.  A date will be announced soon.

I have planned the last 2 meeting programs myself and I am looking for fresh insight this year.  I have received passing suggestions ranging from keeping the meeting format essentially the same, to changing to a trainee-centered event, to holding the meeting every 2 years for lack of new content, to having it planned as an overnight retreat to facilitate evening socialization.

I want this to be the best event possible.  I am therefore soliciting meeting format and location suggestions from potential participants.  Please take a few moments to consider what you would like to see at the next MNN annual meeting.  What would benefit us all from a community-building and collaboration standpoint?

I am happy to take all suggestions but please get them to me as soon as you can.  Thank you for your help.

Sincerely,
