What’s Growing On in Plant Science?

· The Plant Science Graduate Student Association is very happy to announce that they are selling apparel with their new Plant Science logo included!

Here’s the new logo

Gildan heavy blend Crewneck Sweatshirts in black or sand in sizes small to 5XL ($45), and Cuffed Beanies (hats) in black or white (one size) ($35) are available.  Items can be viewed and purchased through the UM Aggies website (https://uofmaggies.ca/store/).  Any profits will go to support Plant Science graduate students and alumni.

The sale is open until February 13th!

Anonymous Survey

· The PSGSA asks that all graduate students take the time to fill out a brief anonymous survey regarding student wellbeing and support wanted / required for the 2023 year. The survey can be found here (https://forms.gle/6px8v2vNKELJdH5F6) and will take approximately 3 minutes to complete.

Callum Morrison, MSc student with Yvonne Lawley, received the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Medal for “being a pillar in your community and for dedicating your time to helping others”.  Congratulations on receiving this well-deserved award!
