Hello Everyone

The Safety group had been asked to provide more information regarding chemical spill clean-ups. 

The attached power point slide is a video giving a good demonstration of how to clean up a chemical spill (you will need to “enable content” on the slide to play the video). The chemical spill portion of the video is about three and a half minutes, the video then goes on to show radioactive and biological spill procedures.

Also attached is a reference guide from EHSO for chemical spill clean-up. 

Remember that chemical waste must be disposed of through EHSO.
