Hi all,
"Every year, the University of Manitoba offers a wide-range of bursaries to both new and continuing full time and part-time students who have a demonstrated financial need and a minimum academic standing. Bursaries (student funding that does not need to be repaid) range in amounts from $100 to $1,000 with over $6 million awarded annually.
Bursary awards are primarily based upon financial need (as opposed to scholarships which are primarily based upon academics/marks)."
The deadline to apply for bursaries is October 1.
Information is available at http://umanitoba.ca/student/fin_awards/bursaries/

Registration for the 2018-2019 Academic Year (Fall and Winter) begins July 18.
I have attached the updated Registration Approval forms. Please note that there is now a form for M.Sc. students and a form for Ph.D. students.
If you intend to take a course that has limited enrolment, be sure to register early.
Please add the Fall/Winter courses you’re taking (if any) to the appropriate Registration Approval Form and have your advisor sign it. Return the form to me (email is fine). I’ll then remove the block on your registration and you can then register.
I’ve added GRAD 7000/8000 and GRAD 7020/8020 to the forms. Please ensure you register for these too.
