Good morning all,
Dr. Martin Entz recently proposed a long-term plan for transitioning Plant Science into a carbon neutral department and he wishes to hear back from us grad students.
Please read through the attached pdf file of his proposal, and once you’re done, a link leads to a very quick survey collecting your input. We request completing the survey before 10 am tomorrow morning.

Subject: Soil science seminar volunteers
Hello,
We would like to invite volunteers to the soil science seminar series. My colleagues and I would like to take a multidisciplinary approach this year. This approach aims to have diversity and show how different fields intersect with soil science (e.g., carbon footprint analysis, life cycle assessment, nutrient cycling, GHGs, plant and soil science, etc.).
We currently have the following dates open:
December-01-21
December-15-21
January-12-22
January-26-22
February-09-22
February-23-22
March-09-22
March-23-22
April-06-22
April-20-22
May-04-22
May-18-22
June-01-22
The seminar will be between 12:00 pm to 13:00 ( 45 min presentation & 15 min. discussions).
Those interested are welcome to forward your presentation's title and a short biography with your photo for your seminar advertisement at UofM.
