Please see the attached application for Plant Science Travel Awards and terms of reference for each award.
When writing your abstract, please note that an abstract should generally include:
· An introductory sentence;
· Objectives of your research;
· Brief description of what was done;
· Results (this should be the bulk of the abstract);
· A conclusion with a "take-home" message and future directions.

Details: Scholarships will be offered to meritorious graduate students who demonstrate significant achievement, research ability, and scholarly potential. Students must be enrolled full-time in a thesis-based program in the Faculty of Graduate Studies within the first two years of a Master's program of the first four years of a Ph.D. program. Not all applicants who meet the minimum eligibility requirements are guaranteed to receive a scholarship.

I hope you all had a very restful break! The Plant Science Graduate Student Association would like to invite you all to our upcoming Pizza Night in the graduate student lounge this Thursday at 5pm (please RSVP if interested). We would also like to start off the year by hearing from you and your feedback of your current experiences as a graduate student and what you would like to see from your PSGSA in the new year, so please take the time to fill out our quick (3 minute) survey and join us this Thursday to ring in the new year!
The PSGSA survey is anonymous and optional; your responses will be used to ensure that the PSGSA is accommodating graduate student needs and ensuring our vision aligns with those that we serve.
