As the summer field season gets started, the PSGSA has a few events to announce!

The last official coffee time until fall will be held this Thursday, April 25th at 10:00 am in the lounge. 

Following the Department of Plant Science Safety Seminar on Monday, April 29th, the PSGSA will be hosting a pizza lunch for all plant science grad students at 11:30 in Room 138 Agriculture building. 

Finally, please note that the Department of Statistics is offering an "Introduction to R" workshop on Friday, May 10 from 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm. The registration deadline is May 6th, and space is limited. To register, please email consulting@stats.umanitoba.ca. This workshop has a $30 course fee, and the PSGSA will cover half of the cost for any plant science grad student who attends (contact Ashley at ammetera@myumanitoba.ca for more information regarding your reimbursement). This is an excellent educational opportunity and we strongly encourage attending!
