Rourke Farms Ltd.  Is gearing up to conduct agronomic research on BMPs for organic regenerative no till farming. We are looking for a Research Associate and a summer student to help in this research. The research will be done primarily on the farm at Minto , Manitoba. It will be a combination of small plot replicated trials as well as large scale strip trials. The research will develop Green and Brown seeding techniques , cover  crop optimization, intercropping,  weed control alternatives, soil  fertility improvements,  and  equipment modification to enable novel solutions for dependable high yield organic regenerative no till farming techniques.

Rourke Farms Ltd. Is a 5300 acre organic farm at Minto Manitoba, it is 30 miles south of Brandon.

Ideally the successful candidate will have experience operating small farm / research equipment.  Having taken Dr. Entz’s organic farming course will be looked on favorably. They must have passion for organic farming, regenerative agriculture and optimizing carbon sequestration and soil health. They will have a valid drivers license and a vehicle to get to the work site.  The Research Associate ideally will have experience conducting field research trials.
