To all fellow graduate students, 
 
Partaking in graduate studies is in itself stressful enough, but the gravity of COVID 19 was something no one was expecting nor preparing for. In times like these, it is important to re-evaluate the condition of our mental health, and to utilize the support that is available. Student Counselling will be hosting a virtual presentation on COVID 19 stress management on September 25 at 2 pm. In it, we should learn how to re-orient ourselves during this pandemic and how to return to a healthy work/study/life balance. This is also a good opportunity to inquire of other services Student Counselling offers, as we all have different backgrounds and situations.

Title:                     Doing Well During Stressful Times
Description:        Graduate studies is usually a stressful pursuit; graduate studies during the COVID-19 pandemic may be even more stressful. Join us for a 75 minute webinar focused on helping graduate students manage and do well during this truly unique time. David Ness form the Student Counselling Centre on campus will provide practical strategies for uncertainty, COVID-19 “overload”, worry and more. Participants will be provided workshop materials following the session. This session will be offered via Zoom and students are invited to participate as they would like (e.g., ask questions via chat function or live using audio and mic, activate video, simply listen, etc.).
