Hi Claudio,

We are losing Adam Carter, our Biologist who is in charge of activities in the Barley Genomics/ Molecular lab.  Adam is leaving AAFC to pursue his PhD in September.

Ideally, we would hope to have someone capable in both Genetics/Genomics/ Molecular Biology and good knowledge and experience of using various dedicated software.

Are there any of your current (in the final year) or former Master Students that you might recommend to fill this function in the short-term?  Please not that the candidate must be a Canadian Citizen.

Longer-term re-staffing of the position is our hope. However, those things take time and would likely require a competitive process.
