Subject: Safety Valve Replacements - March 29th to April 1st, 2021 - Plant Science, Dairy Art Barn, Ellis, Physical Plant, Stores, University College, Agriculture Lecture Block, Animal Science, TK Cheung

 

Good Morning,

 

During the week of March 29th to April 1st, 2021 the Plumbing shop will be replacing a number of safety relief valves in the following buildings:

1)     Plant Science

2)     Dairy Art Barn

3)     Ellis

4)     Physical plant

5)     Stores

6)     University College Academic

7)     Agriculture lecture block

8)     Animal science

9)     T K Cheung

 

   These safety valve replacements will ONLY affect the domestic hot water and building compressed air in these buildings. The domestic cold water will remain on and the washrooms will still be in operation.

The duration of this shutdown will be anywhere from 1 hour to 4 hours per building. The shutdown day for each particular building will depend on how many valves can be replaced on any given day. Work should be completed in three days.
