Hi everyone,

I hope everyone is well! Crazy to think it is already July!

This portion of the email applies to those that have access to the Agriculture/Plant Science building. Because we are not allowed to use the grad lounge due to its size, Claudio has received permission for us to use Room 218 and the Carolyn Sifton lecture theatre (where seminars are held) as lunch rooms. The idea is that 8 people will be allowed in each space (16 total) granted we are social distancing and cleaning up after ourselves. I think this would be a great opportunity for those of us in the building to eat lunch together and socialize. Discuss with peers and let me know which room you would like to be “assigned” as I need to let Bev know so she can update our room files.

- I have asked if we can move the microwaves to the rooms but have not received a yes or no yet.

On another note - James and I will both be attending the “Town Hall” meeting on Thursday (9AM) with other members of the faculty, so if you have any questions, concerns, or thoughts please send them my way. Things to think about: working under Covid conditions, field and lab research, etc.

- All are welcome to attend. See email link from Bev. “Plant Science “Hello, How Are You?” Town Hall

Hope to see you all soon! Happy research/writing!

Cheers,
Beth
