Subject: bulding occupancy

All,

The new building occupancy schedule has been now in effective since Nov 2.   I just would like to remind a few key points.

1) FAFS survey

2) Arranging visits to buildings

      i) Long visits (>10h per week)  Arrangements must be made with your supervisor or PI.  If the person has no previous access to the building, the supervisor/PI needs to forward the

Sub-unit template (attached to this email) to the Head.  The template needs to be approved by both Head and Faculty.  Once the approval is granted, the supervisor/PI can then  revise the occupancy spreadsheet and send the current and revised spreadsheets to Claudio (PS and Agr. bld), Belay (Research Annex 5 and CTC), or Doug C (The Point).  Bev  needs to be cc'ed.   This request will be evaluated based on the current level occupancy in the building.

ii) Shorter visits.   See the flowchart (attached to this email).  To facilitate and expedite the process address the 4 items below in your request to Claudio (PS and Agr. bld), Belay (Research Annex 5 and CTC), or Doug C (The Point).

Bev needs to be cc'ed.   Visits should be limited as much as possible to 1 person at a time/lab.

                                                       1) Name

                                                       2) Confirmation that access to the building to be visited has already been granted

                                                       3) Building and room number

                                                       4)  Day and time of the visit

3) Lunchrooms and washrooms

       - Rooms 134 and 138 in the Agriculture Bld can be used as lunchrooms.  Please respect the max occupancy and maintain social distancing.

      - In order to reduce traffic and movements among buildings it is encouraged when possible to use washrooms in the building of residence (eg. if you reside in the PS bld

try not to use washrooms in the Agr bld and vice versa).

Thanks

Claudio
