"We have been discussing a new course in the Department - on the theme of "Feeding a Hungry Planet".   This course will be aimed at students across the university and will likely be listed as a 1000 or 2000 level course. 

It would be great to have a discussion about what should be contained in the course.  So, I am inviting you to participate in a discussion about the "Feeding a Hungry Planet" course.

What:  I will present a possible course outline, though keep in mind that your input is important to further shaping of the outline.
