I hope everyone is well today!

We have an award called the Roma Zenovea Hawirko Graduate Scholarship – I was hoping you could circulate this award to your department/students who may be interested in this award! 

The award itself is for a student who is conducting a clearly defined and innovative research project in the area of microbiology.  Further details and eligibility of the award is found in our database.

Some details of the award are as follows …

1) As at Fall 2017 is enrolled full-time in the Faculty of Graduate studies in the first or second year of any Ph.D. program delivered by a department in the Faculty of Science or the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences;

2) Has achieved a minimum degree grade point average of 3.5 (or equivalent) based on the last 60 credit hours of study (or equivalent);

3) And the award is valued at approximately $8000.

Please feel free to circulate this award to the students in your department and let them know the deadline for application is September 6, 2017.
