A grad student just sent this text to his advisor. 

 

“just had to call u of m security because someone the blue line bus stop was threatening us with a knife. I managed to run and get into my bus. Avoid that bus stop for now.”

 

 

Is it OK for me to send around a message:

 

We have heard from a student that there was a threatening incident at the UM bus stop recently. Security has been notified. Please be aware of your surroundings and pay attention to any advice and signage from Security Services.

 

Also, please be aware of the Campus Safewalk program
