Subject: 2016 MAC Volunteers
Good afternoon,
Just wondering if you’d be able to help and spread the word that we still require at least 7 volunteers.
Conference dates are Wednesday and Thursday, December 14th and 15th. Here’s the info and what students would be volunteering to help out with:
Volunteers are needed to help with the 2016 Manitoba Agronomists Conference happening here on campus on Wednesday, December 14th and Thursday, December 15th! In return for volunteering
with the conference, you will receive some free food and be able to listen to some great presentations! Please consider volunteering your time for any of the following positions:
1.
Handing out Parking Passes in the Welcome Centre on the morning of December 14th – 7:30 to 9:00 AM (you will receive a free parking pass)
2.
Help out at the registration table with nametags, hand out speaker packages
3.
Help with morning/afternoon snack breaks, escorting group to lunch in Univ Centre
4.
Queuing up PowerPoint presentations for each speaker, set speakers up with mics, run to people with mic for questions at the end of each presentation
Please let Rachel Sydor (mbagconf@umanitoba.ca) know that you would like to help out. Any time you can spare would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Rachel Sydor
