Dear fellow graduate students,

 

This is a friendly reminder for you to register and participate in the 36th Annual Plant Sciences Graduate Student Symposium, which will take place at the U of S on March 13th and March 14th this year. Registration is FREE (meals will be provided) and the deadline is February 1st, 2020.

 

This symposium brings together graduate students from North Dakota State University, South Dakota State University, University of Manitoba, University of Alberta, University of British Columbia, University of Guelph, and University of Saskatchewan. The conference is an excellent opportunity to not only promote plant science research at these universities, but also to promote the thriving agricultural industry in and around the prairies.

You will also find a list and brief description of each of the keynote speakers who have been invited for the symposium: Dr. Gita Coaker (Plant Pathology), Dr. Leon Kochian (Root System Architecture), Dr. David Crowder (Plant-Insect and Plant-Insect-Pathogen Interactions), Dr. Curtis Pozniak (Durum Breeding), and Ms. Jennifer Grenz (Invasive Species Management).
