Hello all,

I am pleased to announce the first annual plant science grad students river trail skate-a-thon.  We will be going skating at the Forks on Wednesday, February 11 as long as the weather stays nice and balmy.  We will meet in the atrium first around 4:30 and then head to the forks for some skating and drinks afterward.  I will be able to give some people rides and other people will have their vehicles so transportation shouldn't be too difficult. Please feel free to come out even if you are not a good skater (or have never skated before) as they have skates for rent at the Forks and it will be a fun chance to enjoy Winnipeg's beautiful February weather.  Helmets not provided.  Hope to see you there!
