A PhD position, starting in 2020, is available in Stasolla’s lab to investigate physiological and molecular events related to seed oil accumulation in Brassica.   Using immunological and molecular techniques, as well as transgenic approaches, the candidate will assess the participation of phytoglobins, animal-like hemoglobins found in plants, in seed oil profile and level.  Background knowledge in plant molecular physiology is required.  For further information please contact C.
