LORD SELKIRK ASSOCIATION OF RUPERTSLAND AGRICULTURE SCHOLARSHIP
W.O.S. MEREDITH FELLOWSHIP FOR BARLEY RESEARCH
SYNGENTA GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP
The Lord Selkirk Scholarship: valued at $1000, “will provide
support to a graduate student doing research in methods farmers may use
to add value to their products before leaving the farm gate”.
The W.O.S. Meredith Fellowship: valued at $1200, “is intended to
extend research in barley science by encouraging and providing support
to a student who is conducting graduate research in this field”.
The Syngenta Graduate Scholarship: valued at $5800, will be
awarded to a graduate student who “is conducting research in
sustainable agriculture in the following areas: environmental quality
and resources management, integrated pest management, introduction of
new technologies, economic viability and rural community
sustainability”.
The deadline for submission of these applications to Wendy Kramer in
Room 160 Agriculture Building is FRIDAY, MARCH 2, 2007.
