Karl C. Ivarson Scholarship
This Scholarship was created by Dr. Karl C. Ivarson through a gift to the
Agricultural Institute of Canada Foundation. Dr. Ivarson's wish is to
provide financial support to students entering their second or subsequent
years of post-graduate studies in soil science (in areas of agriculture,
environment, geology agro-ecology or other related disciplines) at a
recognized Canadian university. Two scholarships of $2,000 each will be
awarded in 2008.

of past-president and agri-finance leader, Doug McRorie, PAg, FAIC. Doug
served as the Vice-President of Agriculture for the Royal Bank and was a
well-respected agricultural leader in Canada. Through 2010, the AICF will be
offering six annual scholarships of $1500 each to agricultural
post-graduates majoring in agricultural business, economics, finance or
trade. This scholarship is made available through support from the RBC
Foundation.
The deadline for applications for the Ivarson and McRorie scholarships is
