Must be a full-time graduate student in a thesis program; have an outstanding record of academic achievement (minimum GPA 3.5).

The fellowship is to be offered either as two supplementary (or “top-up”) awards to recipients of the University of Manitoba Graduate Fellowships or as one independent (or “stand-alone”) award. The fellowship may be renewable, for one year in the case of M.Sc. students or two years in the case of Ph.D. students, based on progress reports and the discretion of the selection committee.
