Subject: Biosecurity and Parking Spots at Carman

This is a reminder to everyone who will have trials or will be visiting Carman Research Facility. In an effort to reduce the spread of crop diseases, we placed 2 hand sprayers with
Spray Nine by the NE side of the main building to be used for spraying all vehicle tires before proceeding to the yard or plots. The same needs to be done when leaving the site. This is a temporary measure while Terry is working on the more effective bay wash.
As has been the routine in previous years, I also expect everyone to clean out dirt from their equipment and boots before coming back to the yard.
Parking lots:
All Department vehicles are to be parked on the Northen side of the main building and at least and personal or visitors' vehicles on the Southern end of the main building. During
lunch time, a few vehicles can be parked SE of Building #4 (see attached map).
