U of M Plant Science Graduate Students Paintball Day at Shadow Valley Paintball (Morden, MB)
Shadow Valley Paintball is a non-commercial paintball field. It is actually my in-laws farm. My brother-in-law and I have been slowly turning it into a paintball field over the past 5 years. We have a speedball field and about 30 acres of bush/pasture for bushball. We have lots of hills, old oak trees, fences, farm buildings, roads, a race track, a creek and a gravel pit to add to the fun. We even have a big wooden tank in our speedball field.
Date: Either Saturday, July 1 or Saturday July 8.
Time: Noon until 6pm or so.
Cost: Equipment Rental: $20 (Includes paintball gun, protective face mask & goggles, and free air. You will need to bring old clothes as you will get dirty! FYI: the paint is water-based, non-toxic, biodegradable and it does not stain if you wash your clothes at the end of the day.) Paintballs: $7.50 per 500 (500 paintballs should last for the entire day)
We will organize carpools so no one will be left behind and there will be a sign-up sheet in the lounge where you can note your date of preference (either July 1 or July 8).
If you've never played paintball before, don't worry you won't be the only one. Paintball is a lot of fun, and I guarantee you'll have a blast! See pictures here: http://shadowvalleypaintball.blogspot.com/
