Registration open for 34th Annual Plant Science Graduate Student Symposium
Dear fellow graduate students,
As most of you are aware, the Plant Science Graduate Student Association (PSGSA) will be hosting the 34th Annual Plant Science Graduate Student Symposium at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, MB on March 16-17, 2018.
The theme for this year’s symposium is “Cultivating the Field of Big Data”. The event will host student presentations, 3-4 keynote speakers, a panel discussion and a variety of networking events. We are inviting graduate students from the University of Manitoba, University of Saskatchewan, North Dakota State University as well as other neighboring universities in Canada and the United States.
We highly encourage fellow graduate students to attend the upcoming symposium as this event will be a great opportunity to improve research skills, share ideas, and expand our network among graduate students.

We highly appreciate fellow students for volunteering in different organizing sub-committees. We still require lots of hands for successful hosting of symposium. If you are interested in volunteering on one of the sub-committees, or helping on the days of the symposium, please let us know, as we are always looking for extra volunteers!

I would like to remind that the registration deadline for symposium is approaching soon. Please register by 2nd Feb 2018 to reserve your spot in symposium. I highly encourage everyone to attend symposium and present their research with fellow graduate students from neighbouring universities.

I would like to inform that registration deadline for 34th Annual Plant Science Graduate Student Symposium has been extended to 23rd Feb 2018. Please take this opportunity to register in symposium.
We are the host for this symposium, so each graduate students from our department should take part in symposium. There are awards for student presentations for each session. Please present your research with fellow students to take chance of getting those awards and get exposure of your research. If you are not willing to give oral presentation, there is also opportunity to just attend the symposium.
I highly encourage fellow students to attend the symposium as this event will be a great opportunity to share ideas, and expand our network among colleague.
