The Point Transitions Committee met last week to review progress and identify steps needed to make grain and plant biomass processing space available during the summer and fall of 2024 should we be unable to re-occupy current processes facilities at the point.

Technicians whose program will have grain and plant biomass processing needs this summer and fall are invited to meet in The Point coffee room on Thursday at 10:30 to identify their anticipated processing needs and timelines. We will also be asking for input on setting up work stations for processing in a new work space, the former animal science poultry barn in the Smart Park area of campus. With the rainy weather this week, we were hoping we might have a window to get techs together for this discussion before good weather returns. If you are unable to join in person, you can send written comments by email to Yvonne Lawley.
