Please be advised that the SSHRC, NSERC, and CIHR Canada Graduate Scholarship – Master’s (CGS-M) competition has launched, and the following information will be sent out to currently registered graduate students in tomorrow’s “Upcoming Awards and Deadlines” email from the Faculty of Graduate Studies Awards Team.  

 

Details regarding the deadline for this competition, a link to our institutional instructions for this award, as well as a sign up for a virtual information session can be found below.

Tri-Agency (SSHRC, NSERC, & CIHR) Canada Graduate Scholarship – Master’s (CGS-M) Virtual Information Session

Date:  October 15th, 2020

Time: 2 pm CDT

Sara Sealey, Awards Officer for the Faculty of Graduate Studies, will host this virtual information session on the WebEx platform for students interested in applying for the Tri-Agency (SSHRC, NSERC, and CIHR) Canada Graduate Scholarships-Master’s (CGS-M).  This session will cover the eligibility requirements for the CGS-M as well as provide information and tips for submitting the application via the online Research Portal.

 

Students who would like this information, but are unable to attend this session on October 15th, 2020, are highly encouraged to still sign up for this session via the link above.  A link to watch a recording of this presentation, as well as a PDF copy of the presentation slides, will be sent to all students who signed up for the session a few days after, regardless if they attended or not.  

 

The CGS-M eligibility indicates that only Canadian citizens and Permanent Residents of Canada are eligible to apply for this opportunity.

 

Staff and faculty are also welcome to join this session, as well!
