New #UMGradGoals Guide Aims to Inspire Graduate Student Success

Are you a new graduate student to the University of Manitoba and wondering what you need to do to get started on the right track? Or, are you a continuing graduate student wondering how to stay on track?

The Faculty of Graduate Studies new online guide, #UMGradGoals, provides key academic program, funding, and professional development information that every graduate student should know about.

The #UMGradGoals guide is organized into four stages that are foundational for every student’s positive graduate school experience. Within each stage, important academic goals and program milestones are identified so that graduate students can track and plan their progress independently to ensure success. Even if things don’t go quite according to plan, #UMGradGoals provides suggestions and advice for students to assess their situation and figure out how to get back on track.

Students are able to share their #UMGradGoals with other students as a way of establishing connections and fostering a sense of community across disciplines and campuses.

Whether you are a new or a returning graduate student, #UMGradGoals provides the information needed to complete your program and share your success with your community and beyond.
